Can I adopt one of the animals?
No — Chaotic Serendipity is a permanent sanctuary, not an adoption agency. Every resident stays for life. You can sponsor a resident, donate toward their care, or come visit. This applies to you, too Francine. You can't steal them either. I don't care what Phil told you about Rosie's habits.

Can I visit the sanctuary?
While we are not open to the public, we do often have people visit on some weekends with advanced planning. We may open up more options as the seasons change and our willingness to hold down external jobs since this isn't really a high-paying gig.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Chaotic Serendipity's 501(c)(3) application is pending. We'll update this page as soon as we have our determination letter and appropriate forms available.

How can I help if I can't donate money?
Volunteering, supply wishlist, merch purchases, sharing on social media? We also like baked goods. While a large portion of the residents like carrots, the other half is fond of carrot cake... in case you're asking.

Do you take in new animals?
We are still working out the best process for this. Most often we are called in at the right time for the right animal, hence the name.

Where are you located?
Chaotic Serendipity is located in West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle between Martinsburg and Shepherdstown.
